Our Basic Shotgun course is designed to teach new and novice shotgun shooters. Learn the basics of shooting a shotgun. This course will provide students with a fundamental understanding on how to use a pump action or semi-automatic shotgun. Basic Shotgun will also teach students safety. 

Course Outline

• Universal Firearm Safety Rules

1. Treat all guns as if they were loaded and always know the condition of your firearm.
2. Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you are indexed on the target and have made the decision to fire.
3. Always keep the firearm in a safe direction and never point at anything you are not willing to kill, destroy, or buy.  
4. Know your target and what is around and beyond it.

  • Aiming 
  • Trigger 
  • Breathing 
  • Follow Through 
• Loading and Unloading a Shotgun 
• Live Fire Shooting Drills
